An evening of romance, laughter and great food at the Kairos Centre. Tapas starters to the brilliant piano playing of Neil and Natalie, followed by a sumptious meal of Valentine Chicken, scrumptious desserts and cheese board – I’m hungry just writing about it! How well do you know your partner quiz went down a treat – if you knew the answers! Many thanks to Irene, Jim, Tina, Graham and Jill.

Wednesday, 17th November – Cell – U – Like (formerly known as Rachel’s Cell), presents “Brie, Baguettes and Beaujolais” for the whole Church.

For one night only the Kairos Centre will be transformed into a French Cafe.

Bring your favourite French wine and join us for a free fun night of conversation, wine and all things French including a special showing of Laurel & Hardy French Foreign Legion!!

Baguettes, cheese, snacks and soft drinks provided. French dress optional however prize for the Best French costume!!

Chili & Quiz Night

The Kairos centre was filled with the heady aroma of freshly cooked chilli as church members and guests gathered for a fun night in the Centre.

Alan & Kath’s Cell Group did a sterling job cooking it all up – yum yum and then running an excellent quiz in the top room.

Big credit to Bridget being the only one to remember ‘Shibboleth’.

A great night – thanks to Alan & Kath’s Cell for all their hard work.

Baptism Party at the Kairos Centre

Sunday 3rd Oct: Baptism Party in Kairos Centre.

After a great church service in the community centre this week at which Alistair and Favour were baptised by full immersion the guests and families were invited to a bring and share lunch at the Kairos Centre.

A great spread of food including Nigeria dishes – gary & soup is Joseph’s favourite.

A big thank you to Jane, Lester, Charlotte and all those who worked so hard on the day.

One of those baptised said ‘it was the best day of my life!’
